Week 35 of 2025 proved to be a highly profitable week to close the month as we punched a solid 8.14 units of profit to our punters accounts.

With the 25 College Football Season underway we wanted to test our pre-season form and sports tipping guides were in check and ready to go. We also backed up our NCAAF bets with our staple NRLW (Womens) bets which have been on a roll the last 3 weeks.

We placed a total of nine bets and achieved a strong success rate, securing seven wins against just two losses. Total units staked 14.00, generating a return of 22.14 units and a net profit of 8.14 units. An impressive ROI of 58.14%, highlighting the effectiveness of our selective picks based on player props, team totals, and tries in the NRLW.

Bet ID 203286: 2025-08-29, NCAAF - OHIO vs RUTGERS, Pick: (OHIO/RUTGERS) UNDER 52.5 TOTAL POINTS

Placed with TAB as a SINGLE OVER / UNDER bet for 1.00 unit at 1.80 odds. Result: LOSS, return 0.00, profit -1.00.

Comments/Game Notes

This bet on the under looked promising early, given both teams' defensive reputations and a projected low-scoring affair, but the game exploded into a high-octane shootout. Rutgers edged out Ohio 34-31 in a thrilling opener at SHI Stadium, with a combined total of 65 points easily surpassing the 52.5 line. Rutgers quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis threw for 252 yards and two touchdowns, while Ohio's Parker Navarro countered with 214 passing yards and three scores. The Scarlet Knights sealed the win with a late field goal, but not before both offenses traded blows throughout. Key stats: Rutgers amassed 412 total yards, including 160 on the ground, while Ohio managed 378 yards with a balanced attack. Turnovers were minimal (one each), but explosive plays—like a 14-yard rushing TD by Rutgers' Antwan Raymond—pushed the score higher than anticipated. Defensive lapses in the secondary allowed big gains, turning what could have been a grind-it-out MAC-Big Ten clash into a points fest. From a betting perspective, this loss highlights the risks of unders in season openers where rust can lead to unexpected offensive efficiency. 11 total touchdowns, far exceeding preseason models that pegged the total around 48 points. Moving forward, we'll adjust for potential overreactions in Week 1 lines.

Bet ID 203287: 2025-08-30, NCAAF - TARLETON STATE vs ARMY, Pick: (TARLETON STATE/ARMY) ARMY -13.5

Placed with Bet365 AU as a SINGLE SPREAD bet for 1.00 unit at 1.86 odds. Result: LOSS, return 0.00, profit -1.00.

Comments/Game Notes

Army entered as heavy favorites against FCS opponent Tarleton State, but the Black Knights couldn't pull away, falling 30-27 in double overtime at Michie Stadium. This upset marked Tarleton State's second-ever win over an FBS team, with kicker Brad Larson nailing a 37-yard field goal to seal it. Army's run-heavy offense racked up 285 rushing yards, led by Bryson Daily's 112 yards and two TDs, but defensive breakdowns allowed Tarleton to stay in the game. The Texans totaled 398 yards, including 245 through the air from quarterback Victor Gabalis. Key stats: Army converted 8-of-15 third downs but committed two turnovers, while Tarleton forced overtime with a late drive. The final margin of three points meant Army failed to cover the -13.5 spread by a wide margin, as the game went to extras after a 24-24 tie in regulation. ESPN's recap emphasized Tarleton's resilience, noting their ability to match Army's physicality despite being outrushed 285-153. This loss stings, as preseason analytics favored Army's experience, but it serves as a reminder of the volatility in FBS vs. FCS matchups. We'll scrutinize similar spreads more closely in future weeks.

Bet ID 203288: 2025-08-30, NCAAF - TARLETON STATE vs ARMY, Pick: (TARLETON STATE/ARMY) BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE 1+ TOUCHDOWNS IN EACH HALF

Placed with Bet365 AU as a SINGLE TOUCHDOWNS bet for 1.00 unit at 2.95 odds. Result: WIN, return 2.95, profit 1.95.

Comments/Game Notes

Despite the upset, this prop bet cashed comfortably as both teams found the end zone in each half, contributing to the high-scoring overtime thriller. In the first half, Army scored two rushing TDs (one in each quarter), while Tarleton answered with a passing score and a field goal, but crucially added a TD late in the second quarter. The second half saw more fireworks: Tarleton opened with a TD drive, Army responded with another rush score, and both traded TDs in the fourth to force OT. Overtime included additional scores, but the bet was already won by halftime. Stats-wise, Army finished with four total TDs (all rushing), and Tarleton had three (two passing, one rushing). Highlights captured key moments like Hayden Reed's goal-line plunge for Army and Tarleton's late equalizer. This pick leveraged the expectation of Tarleton's offense keeping pace, despite Army's dominance on the ground. The 2.95 odds provided excellent value for a correlated bet in a game that totaled 57 points. A solid win that offset the earlier spread loss on the same matchup.

Bet ID 203289: 2025-08-30, NCAAF - GEORGIA TECH vs COLORADO, Pick: (GEORGIA TECH/COLORADO) HAYNES KING (GEORGIA TECH) OVER 40.5 RUSHING YARDS

Placed with Bet365 AU as a SINGLE OTHER bet for 1.00 unit at 1.86 odds. Result: WIN, return 1.86, profit 0.86.

Comments/Game Notes

Haynes King delivered a masterful dual-threat performance in Georgia Tech's 27-20 upset over Colorado at Folsom Field, shattering the 40.5 rushing yards line with 156 yards on 14 carries. His mobility was on full display, including a game-winning 45-yard TD scamper with 1:07 left. King averaged 11.1 yards per rush, exploiting Colorado's defensive gaps. Complementing his ground game, he passed for 143 yards and one TD, totaling three scores overall. Georgia Tech overcame early turnovers (three in the first half) to outgain Colorado 412-356 in total yards. ESPN's recap praised King's poise, noting his rushes set up key drives, including a 4-yard TD run in the second quarter. Colorado's Shedeur Sanders threw for 290 yards and two TDs, but their run defense faltered, allowing Tech 269 rushing yards as a team. Colorado’s new Quarterback Kaidon Salter, threw for 159 yards and one touchdown while rushing for 43 yards and a score, but their defense couldn’t contain King’s mobility. This bet was anchored in King's preseason scrambling tendencies, and his output far exceeded expectations, making it an easy cash despite the close final score.

Bet ID 203290: 2025-08-30, NCAAF - GEORGIA TECH vs COLORADO, Pick: (GEORGIA TECH/COLORADO) HAYNES KING(GEORGIA TECH) ANYTIME TD SCORER

Placed with Bet365 AU as a SINGLE TOUCHDOWNS bet for 1.00 unit at 1.80 odds. Result: WIN, return 1.80, profit 0.80.

Comments/Game Notes

Building on his rushing dominance, Haynes King punched in three rushing touchdowns against Colorado, easily hitting the anytime TD scorer prop. His scores included a 4-yard run in the second quarter, a 1-yard plunge in the third, and the decisive 45-yarder late. This performance marked a career-high for King in TDs, showcasing his red-zone efficiency. Georgia Tech's offense leaned heavily on King's legs, with him accounting for 156 of the team's 269 rushing yards. Deion Sanders admitted defensive miscues allowed Tech's comeback. The 1.80 odds reflected some uncertainty in a road game, but King's role as Tech's primary rusher made this a high-confidence pick and a player to definitely have on the radar in coming weeks.

Bet ID 203291: 2025-08-30, NCAAF - AUBURN vs BAYLOR, Pick: (AUBURN/BAYLOR) SAWYER ROBERTSON OVER 1.5 PASSING TDS

Placed with Bet365 AU as a SINGLE TOUCHDOWNS bet for 1.00 unit at 1.68 odds. Result: WIN, return 1.68, profit 0.68.

Comments/Game Notes

Baylor's Sawyer Robertson aired it out in a losing effort against Auburn, throwing for three passing touchdowns to clear the 1.5 line comfortably. He completed 27-of-48 attempts for 419 yards, with TDs including a 33-yard strike to Kobe Prentice on fourth down. Despite the 38-24 defeat, Robertson's arm kept Baylor competitive, targeting open receivers on crucial plays. Auburn's Jackson Arnold stole the show with 137 rushing yards and two TDs, but Baylor's passing attack amassed 419 yards against a stout SEC defense. ESPN highlighted Robertson's fourth-down heroics, noting two TD passes came in high-pressure situations. Baylor totaled 502 yards but couldn't stop Auburn's 285 rushing yards. This bet succeeded due to Robertson's volume (48 attempts) and Baylor's trailing script, forcing passes. A reliable prop in a game where the Bears played from behind.

Bet ID 203292: 2025-08-30, NRLW - SYDNEY ROOSTERS vs NORTH QUEENSLAND COWBOYS, Pick: (ROOSTERS/COWBOYS) ROOSTERS OVER 4.5 TRIES

Placed with Bet365 AU as a SINGLE TRIES bet for 5.00 units at 1.77 odds. Result: WIN, return 8.85, profit 3.85.

Comments/Game Notes

The Sydney Roosters dominated the North Queensland Cowboys 30-0 in Round 9 of the NRLW, scoring five tries to push over the 4.5 line and justify our largest stake of the week. That’s 3 consecutive weeks for the dominant Rooster outfit.  While it was touch for some time, only due to two unbelievable mistakes with balls being dislodged across the line in careless carries and a third try gone begging from a poor obstruction. Tries came from a mix of backs and forwards, with conversions adding to the shutout. The Roosters' defense was impenetrable, holding the Cowboys try-less while racking up 30 points. Key performers included winger Brydie Parker with two tries, exploiting Cowboys' edge weaknesses. The Roosters' clinical attack continues to dominate sides. The higher unit stake reflected confidence in their offensive firepower against a struggling Cowboys side.

Placed with Bet365 AU as a SINGLE TRIES bet for 1.00 unit at 1.60 odds. Result: WIN, return 1.60, profit 0.60.

Comments/Game Notes

The Newcastle Knights scored four tries to clear the 2.5 line in a thrilling 19-18 loss to the Cronulla Sharks in NRLW Round 9, decided by a golden point field goal. The Knights dominated early, with Lilly-Ann White scoring twice in the first half (4th and 17th minutes) and Sheridan Gallagher and White adding tries in the second half (post-halftime and 46th minute), building an 18-4 lead. However, the Sharks mounted a dramatic comeback, scoring three tries in the final nine minutes, including a hat-trick from Georgia Ravics and a crucial try by Brooke Anderson in the 70th minute to level the score at 18-18. Chantay Kiria-Ratu sealed the Sharks' victory with a field goal in the first minute of golden point. White’s double proving pivotal for the bet. The Sharks’ late surge overcame their 14 errors earlier in the game but clutch execution in the clutch moments. This bet succeeded due to Newcastle’s consistent try-scoring, despite the heartbreaking loss.

Overall Stats and Takeaways

Wrapping up Week 35, 7 wins and 2 losses, a 77.78% hit rate. The NCAAF segment went 4-2, while NRLW was flawless at 3-0. Cumulative ROI at 58.14% builds on prior weeks, as we look at emphasizing player props and team totals as strengths. That wraps up another successful month for our sports tipping team, we’re excited about the upcoming weeks as the NFL kicks off, the NCAAF College football has 60+ game every week, we’ve got the AFL Finals Week1, which has some great match ups and then there are some very interesting Round 10 NRLW clashes including the Roosters and Broncos again taking on lower ranked sides. We’re also looking at the last round of the NRL where the Broncos, Sharks and Warriors are all playing for that coveted Top 4 spot, and interestingly all sides are the outsider.

Should make for a great start to September as we look to get our punters on the winning side again this month.
