Cashout is a tool, not a white flag.

Only Desk → Open → the live ticket.
Not Board. Not Book, except Fix this week.

Desk does not take dollars. Enter % of the original stake that came back, or units. We round to the tier grid.

Work the % with a $25 unit (example only)

Stake 1u = $25 at $1.90 (−110).

If it wins at the window: return $47.50.
Got $19 back (cut a loser short):

$19 ÷ $25 = 0.76 → enter 76%.

Not “19%.” 19 is dollars. 76 is the share of stake that came back.

Book: small loss, not the full 1u.
Got $37 back (paid to leave a winner):

$37 ÷ $25 = 1.48 → enter 148%.

You kept most of the position and skipped the last swing.
Same method at $50/u or $100/u: received ÷ original stake = %.

1u in $ Stake T1 Win return @ 1.90 Cash received Enter
$25 $25 $47.50 $19 76%
$25 $25 $47.50 $37 148%
$50 $50 $95.00 $38 76%
$100 $100 $190.00 $148 148%

If you treated 44.33 as 1u in your head, the % will be nonsense. Stake is the tier units. + cashout as a plan

Basketball full spread: some cash a slice at half to kill the backdoor. That can be discipline. It can also sell a winner. Book records what you did. Leaving the whole ticket on is allowed. Neither is surrender.

Forgot and it booked as a loss:
Book → Fix cashout, this week only. After the week rolls, frozen.
